first_imgFigures released by the CSO today shows that the unemployment rate has remained unchanged for the past two months.The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for March was 6.1%, unchanged from February 2018. Last month’s statistics do however show a decrease of 0.9% from March 2017.The seasonally adjusted number of persons unemployed was 144,400 in March 2018, down from 146,300 when compared to the February 2018 figure and a decrease of 19,100 when compared to March 2017.
